Virtual Instructor-Led Training
I incorporate ADDIE or Agile in my workflow, depending on the project, and Backward Design to design and develop learning experiences.
Deliverables: Design documents, slide decks, facilitator guides, learner workbooks
Tools: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Snagit, and Adobe InDesign
Using D2L Brightspace to deliver Storyline or Rise courses
PowerPoint, Snagit
Slide deck | Design document | Facilitator's guide
Problem: Some instructional designers or eLearning developers need to save their Storyline and/or Rise courses as SCORM files to upload to D2L Brightspace, a learning management system.
Â
Solution: A one-hour VILT, created in PowerPoint, where the facilitator demonstrates, step-by-step, how to create modules on Brightspace, download SCORM files, and upload them to a module on Brightspace.

Adobe InDesign
At my current ID position, I created a learner workbook to supplement a virtual instructor-led training on implicit bias. Following the branding style guide of the agency, I used Adobe InDesign and stock icons from the Noun Project to create the workbook. The logo of the agency, agency cover page, and table of contents have been removed, and most of the text has been replaced with dummy text.
